State Association of Independent Theatres in Saxony
The Landesverband der Freien Theater in Sachsen e.V. (LFTS) has represented the interests of the independent performing arts and artists in Saxony vis-à-vis the public, politicians and administrations since 2007. Its aim is to continuously improve and professionalise the framework conditions for artistic work in Saxony and to promote networking and the visibility of the independent dance and theatre scene. To this end, the LFTS initiates and organises projects and events, represents the independent scene in committees and working groups and is in contact with representatives from politics and administration. Participation, active co-determination and transparency are important pillars of the organisation.
