Under the motto “Szene zeigen”, the Saxon Theatre Festival and the Saxon Association of Independent Performing Arts are presenting, for the second time, an outstanding production from the independent performing arts sector selected by a jury of experts (consisting of Josephine Bock | Managing Director of the Landesverband der Freien Theater in Sachsen e.V., Martin Stefke | Chief Dramaturg at the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater and Elisabeth Pleß | freelance director/performer/speaker): “Der Fall Mutter” by missingdots offers a representative opportunity to discover the artistic signature, creative precision and aesthetic power of the scene.
“Der Fall Mutter” is a play about people with uteruses and the collective right to have a say on the issue of reproduction. Three authors collaboratively write texts on symbiosis, lichen, borne crosses, biological clocks, eggs, wobbly knees, intergenerational motherhood, heroic women, half-aunts and even foster mothers. Chronobiology reaches out to Rumpelstiltskin and the discourse is opened.
Further information and tickets are available via the organiser’s website.
