DANCE FROM SAXONY

The brochure TANZ AUS SACHSEN presents the diversity and innovative strength of the current dance scene in Saxony. It portrays outstanding artists and ensembles that combine traditional dance forms with modern, interdisciplinary approaches and offers an insight into exciting, sometimes socially critical, sometimes poetic dance productions. It shows how artists in cities such as Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz, but also in rural regions, open up new artistic perspectives with their work and merge different dance styles such as contemporary dance, dance theatre, tap dance and breaking.
